She has over twelve years of professional and voluntary experience in Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development, with a strong focus on Gender Equality, Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), Youth Inclusion, Community Development, Climate Action, and Humanitarian Work. Her experience spans the United Nations, private sector organizations, development agencies, and charities. Chamathya currently serves as the Manager – ESG/Sustainability at DPL. She is also a Board Member of the UK-based charity WAGGGS and an Executive Committee Member of the Swiss-based charity Our Chalet Association. She has been recognized internationally as a recipient of the U.S. Department of State’s Global Emerging Young Leaders Award (2017) and the Global Citizen Youth Leaders Award (2024).

Sanuri Kuruppuarachchi is a Chemical and Process Engineer and currently serves as Assistant Manager – Corporate Sustainability, bringing extensive 7 years of experience and leadership to her role at Martin Bauer Hayles (Pvt) Ltd (MHN) from 2018. She holds a BSc in Engineering degree (Specialized in Chemical and Process Engineering) from the University of Peradeniya and a Postgraduate Diploma in Energy Technology from the University of Moratuwa. She is an Associate Member of the Institute of Engineers, Sri Lanka (AMIESL), underscoring her strong expertise in engineering knowledge and strategic planning. As Sustainability Champion of the MHN, Sanuri is inspired by a clear vision to grow as a leader for sustainability project initiatives while guiding the MHN employees to reach great insights into people, planet and profit. She is holding the roles of Energy and Sustainability Representative, demonstrating her commitment to the growth and development of sustainability in Martin Bauer Group too.

SARATH GANEGODA

An accomplished corporate leader counting over 30 years of multifaceted experience across diverse industries.

Mr. Ganegoda has held several senior leadership positions in large private sector organisations in Sri Lanka and overseas. Having served the Hayleys Group between 1987 and 2002, he rejoined in 2007 and was appointed to the Group Management Committee the same year. He is currently responsible for the Strategic Business Development Unit and Group Information Technology of Hayleys PLC. Mr. Ganegoda holds an MBA from the Postgraduate Institute of Management, University of Sri Jayewardenepura. He is a Fellow Member of CA Sri Lanka and a Member of the Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Australia. He is also Deputy Chairman of Alumex PLC, Non-Executive Director of Haycarb PLC, Dipped Products PLC, Hayleys Fabric PLC, Hayleys Fibre PLC, Kelani Valley Plantations PLC, Horana Plantations PLC, Singer (Sri Lanka) PLC, The Kingsbury PLC and Hayleys Leisure PLC. He serves on the Boards of several private and unlisted public companies in the Hayleys Group. He also serves as the Chairman of Sri Lankan Airlines Ltd and Sri Lankan Catering Limited.
